THE EXBIBLIO DIFFERENCE
Other technologies have attempted to bridge the paper and digital divide.
Exbiblio's approach has one key difference...
No change needs to be made to the printing or publishing of documents
for this to become possible — right now.

The majority of paper-printed documents now also exist in electronic form. Combining Exbiblio's Technology with today's modern imaging devices - like a smartphone camera - let's users find the corresponding digital version to their printed documents. Once linked to their electronic counterpart, paper documents are transformed into physical web pages. The traditional world of books, newspapers, magazines and other printed material gains new life once enhanced with the dynamic, interactive capabilities we've come to expect in our net-connected lives.

The DNA of Documents

Exbiblio took a simple truth, that everything around us is wonderfully unique, and followed it to a remarkable conclusion. When examined in short segments instead of scanning and processing every page, most documents can be identified as unique with only 6 words. In short, any snippet of existing text in a document becomes a barcode, identifying both the document and your location within it. No special codes or printing process required. This remarkably fast and efficient method of association offers a more fundamental and transparent level of context than any conventional system of reference. From this concept, we are building the tools to unlock a rich, interactive experience not previously possible with printed text. Welcome to the paperevolution.
